About Me
I’m a researcher at the Ellison Institute of Technology in Oxford, working on machine learning applications in public health and economics.
I did my undergraduate at Columbia in data science, and I’ll be starting a master’s in statistics at UChicago next. Before this I worked as a quant at the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund and as an ML engineer at a defense contractor. I’m broadly interested in statistics and machine learning, and plan to pursue a PhD eventually.
I fenced competitively for many years and recently retired. I was on the US national team and captain of Columbia Fencing, where we won the Ivy League twice. I’m in the Columbia Fencing Hall of Fame.
Outside of work I follow hockey and snowboard — most often in Colorado with my brother.
